If you want to make a good amount of money on OSRS and you don’t have good skills or the patience to slay monsters and complete quest, then the next best thing to do is flip OSRS items in the Grand exchange.
What is Flipping in OSRS?
Flipping is when you buy an OSRS item for the lowest possible price and you sell it at a higher price. Similar to stock trading in the real world.
The first thing we recommend you do to be successful in flipping OSRS items, you should do a buy-sell test to determine the exact price of an item and how much profit you can make from trading it.
Here is a simple explanation of how to do it.
For example, you want to flip seeds. Basically what you need to do is to buy that item for a higher price, and then sell it for lower, then check the trend in the Grand Exchange The price that you have bought it for, is the selling price, and the price that you sold it for is the buying one.
To summarize, you buy the item for the price that most players are selling for, and sell item(s) for a price that players are willing to buy it.
What are the best OSRS items to flip?
Some of the great things to flip are raw materials for questing like food, raw food, potions, and runes. Basically, it’s everything that you see a lot in the game.
For example, let’s take a shark. You bought this shark for 400£ and you sold it for 380£, so what you need to do now is place an offer in Grand Exchange to buy like 10,000 of these at 380£ and just wait until the price increases. After all of them are bought, collect them and place an offer to sell these sharks for 400£ or more depending on what the market is willing to pay for them.
Note: It can take 10 minutes to a day before items can be sold on the Grand Exchange. It’s not instant since you have to buy a willing party to pay for or buy the items that you are selling.
